Humans love space, and love to water said space, by building absurdly big structures to store stuff inside. The lawn outside is a bit much better in that regard. A big field of cut grass is such a waste of space and resources. That is the crux of my problem really. I have a house and a huge garden, an overgrown one that is. Ninety percent of the lot is occupied by a specific type of weed that is impossible to remove. A lush green garden is the pinnacle of humans desperately trying to bend nature to our will. For the most part it works like a charm, however once you stop caring too much, nature takes over almost instantly. It only takes one summer of neglect and the strongest weed takes over. Sure one can use deadly toxins to kill the roots and salt the earth and kill every living garden insect, causing a tiny ecological collapse. This is a very dumb idea, and unhealthy also. Yes I am lamenting how hard it is to fight urban decay by myself. Enjoy some pictures of my garden flowers.
