A seafaring monument

The beauty of a burg such as Bergen is the centuries of history to unearth, which gives the city that museum-like quality. Scratch that, the city is an exhibition set in stone and wood. A style that is perfect for stories, fascinating adventures, not to mention exploration. In the middle of the town square there is a monument to the seafaring Norseman. Each side depicts the distinct style of several centuries. From what you can probably see, Vikings did not have horns, that is a Wagner creation. The statues made me realize a thing, Vikings are severely underrepresented in gaming. Sure they have been more popular in recent years, but thematically more can not hurt.
