It is not quite enough flowers out there at this time of the year to go with a flower Friday, so I'll go with fungi instead. It grows in nature so it is more than close enough I dare say.
These ones I randomly stumbled upon and just had to force my way through some bushes to catch the toadstool at a decent angle.
Unlike what some people will have you believe, Vikings did not eat red mushrooms to affect their mental state. All these ones do is killing the liver, causing the person eating it to be just as shor lived as the mushroom season in autumn.
